![]() So I have a question now: Can I uninstall the Radeon software app? Is it necessary, or will Windows updates install new AMD/Radeon drivers even without it?Īnother question: If I need some sort of Radeon settings app, how the hell do I re-install Radeon Settings Lite? I can't find it anywhere for some reason. (The only good news is that unlike the issue with iCUE, once you kill the program it doesn't restart itself). ![]() I'm a little annoyed because I finally got this damn thing worked out so nothing was waking up my dGPU without my permission, and suddenly Radeon software unexpectedly swooped in and f***ed that up. This is the same thing that happened to me with Corsair's iCUE software too, until I deleted the specific file that was monitoring the dGPU. Step 2: In the Settings tab, click on Install Driver and follow the installation. What I'm thinking is user updates the driver using windows update, head to windows store to get the UI. Minimum for Linux: NVIDIA GeForce GT 1050 4GB / AMD Radeon R7 240 4GB. so the problem with that is now RadeonSoftware.exe keeps monitoring my dGPU and keeping it awake at 300Hz (with 0% use, which is why setting the app to only use integrated graphics will not work), until I kill the app in task manager. The Windows Store Driver package doesn't seem to have Radeon Settings, only drivers.
